As an Intuitive, I knew there had to be more going on with my body than just “physical” stress, eating healthier, and physical activity. Sleep was good, sugars were being reduced, veggies were being installed.. you know the drill.
But things still felt off. In February of 2018 I was having coffee with a friend of mine and she started telling me about “this amazing product line and company” that she’d been researching for a while.
Something shifted in me during our chat, and within a month, I too was in love with the company and what it had to offer.
But I spoke of it to no one, because I really wanted to get a handle on it and see how it worked over time. It took me about 6 months before I realized that I too needed to be aligned in the sharing, educating and consulting aspect of this line.
Being a “recovering-product junkie”/Non-Fan of Direct Sales – I really had to sit with this.
But when I looked around my home, and looked at my spending habits, I saw that my shelves were now lined with Beautycounter products, and my account had more money in it. You see as a product junkie I would spend money weekly on products because they just simply weren’t good enough, didn’t do what they “promised”, or simply had a funny smell. Now, I could see where my investment was going and staying. I’ve yet to use another beauty care or personal care product and I am willing to bet if you gave it a shot, you may be convinced too.
Beautycounter’s mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone.
Think about it this way. The skin is the largest organ of the body. Where do you think all those lotions, potions, fragrances, and chemicals are going once you slather them on?
Or do you wonder why you put certain products on and feel like you need to keep reapplying them?
Or your symptoms of dry skin, chapped lips, oily hair, or itchy eyes get worse.
It’s one of those… when you know better you do better… moments. (Thank you Maya Angelou). Until we know… we just keep doing what we are doing and using what we are using. Take a few minutes to think about this, or do a little research.
